Adusoft DVD Ripper is an application developed to help you extract DVD movies to popular video formats like AVI, MPEG, DivX, VCD, WMV.
This application allows you to configure input settings (select audio track and subtitle, offset, overlap, etc) and to set start and end points to rip a clip or segment. It also lets you configure output parameters (specific for each format) like video and audio bit rate, zoom, etc. It also has the ability to automatically shutdown your computer after a long task is performed.
Features of the program include support Ripping DVD by custom file size, extracting CSS (Content Scrambling System) protected DVD movies, region , macrovision, and Sony ARCCOS protected DVD movies.
The program has a nice user interface with a time line and a preview screen to watch the ripping process, but you will have to set a couple of parameters to get it working properly. It allows you to configure some advanced settings but doesn't present any editing features like crop, or effects. If you want to test this software, a free trial is available for download.
